Hi, I’m Noah Long
Magic has been a long-time obsession because it rewards the full spectrum of skill and experience: drafting, brewing, piloting, and politics all matter, and I’ve spent decades competing, judging, organizing, and thriving inside that ecosystem.
Bazaar of Baghdad is my beloved!
Proxy Friendly exists because even with better Rule 0 and bracket conversations, games still get warped by the price wall—mana bases, redundancy, and expensive staples can decide outcomes before the game gets interesting—so we build community-first tools that let people test more, waste less, and play smarter.
On the Commander side, I care about trust and clarity: bracket-appropriate builds with optimized consistency so players learn how strong decks actually function without the feel-bad. And in Type 4, I’m a “listen to the packs” drafter who loves designing custom sorcery-speed haymakers that hold weight in a flash-heavy format—especially Super Epic spells and Boss saga-style encounters that turn a game into a story.
